Saint John The Theologian Mission Station
A Community Of The Orthodox Church in America
Fairfax Station, VA

Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!

Saint John The Theologian Orthodox Mission Station, formerly known as the Fairfax Orthodox Mission Station, was established by the Orthodox Church in America's Archdiocese of Washington in October of 2018 to explore the possibility of founding an Orthodox church in southwestern Fairfax County, Virginia.

The Orthodox Church is the original Christian Church, founded by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her history can be traced in unbroken continuity all the way back to Christ and his twelve Apostles.

At Saint John's, you'll find people of different ethnic backgrounds, converts to Orthodoxy, "cradle" Orthodox, and non-Orthodox alike.

We invite all to "Come and see!"

All services are held at the historic St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church located at

5612 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, VA 22039.

There is ample parking available in the church parking lot.
